I learned how to steel and i've been trying it all the time and all that ever happens is that i get attacked by town gaurds or theres no one to steel from

why cant i steel?
steal in the dark district or the fighter district in the pull down menu. and keep clicking it (you cant die from the guards attacking you or the mobs hitting you. once in a while you will make a steal and then progress your level til you become great. and if you subscribe, you can steal from other players as well. jb
Are you using the drop-down menu? If you are, then just keep trying. You'll get it eventually. If you are trying to steal from other players, I'm willing to bet you haven't subscribed yet, which means that you can't. And I'm not sure about this, cause I don't steal very often, but if you are using the drop-down menu it might be better if you're not in the city center or novice quarter. I know that's how it is for robbing.
