Why are you handicapping me by turning the counter tracers off? I am club player on boards so makes no difference to me :)

If it makes no difference, then it’s strange how loudly the difference is being mentioned.

For clarity: FlyOrDie doesn’t apply handicaps. There’s no tracer toggle, no setting that changes based on level or title. Everyone moves on the same board, the rest is perception, not programming.

Sometimes, the real opponent isn’t across the table, it’s the narrative we bring with us.

Hi, okay I will explain in simple English. Up until this morning when I clicked on a counter; ie showed me where I could move to. I.e. It gives me a trace. It no longer does this. I thought a software update on your end had caused a bug that had not been tested on staging or UAT but put into prod by mistake. Various testing using devices with alternative IP addresses shows this is not the case.

So my question is simple. If you are not handicapping me, why can I no longer see where to move to? Yes I can count and most of the time it is instinctive but it puts me at a disadvantage with other players.

It is a handicap in the true sense of the word.

How do I get the counter tracer back?

The tracer still breathes, just tested it.
Possible moves are highlighted as they should be.

If yours have gone silent, check your Game Settings, “Show Possible Moves” needs to be ticked. One small box, one big difference.

And no need to “simplify” the language. The issue was clear, clarity just works better than condescension.

If the shadows persist after that, let me know. Patterns like this tend to repeat, and that’s where they reveal themselves.
Thank you, you totally understood my problem so thank you again. I found the correct menu and re-ticked the box. You can also toggle it with F2 while the game is in process which is good to know
