I have been black 11 straight times. Statistically that is not realistic. I put it down to the perfect rolls that appear on this site. Same with long winning and losing streaks. Things defy statistical probability in this backgammon game.

Perception sharpens when emotion fades. Being black 11 times in a row may feel improbable, but it's not impossible. True randomness doesn’t guarantee alternation, only unpredictability. Long streaks happen in nature too. FlyOrDie’s dice are often questioned. But doubt doesn’t equal design. The only certainty in backgammon is uncertainty, and the board remembers nothing between matches. If you expect patterns, you’ll see ghosts. If you play the board, you’ll see truth.
