I have a level 66 character, HubertCumberdale who uses ranged + piercing/slicing.  I keep his Dex at the suggested ratio seen in the Larkinor Guide and historically that has been perfect.  When his experience level goes up, his p/s skill progress is at around 199% so if I need to raise dex, then I do and kill one thing and the skill level goes up 1.  Ranged doesn't grow as quickly if you just use it once a fight, but that's understandable.  It catches up if you use it more often on lower level stuff.  Well now it seems like p/s skill and ranged are both falling behind my experience level.  When I level, p/s is behind a level for a good while (like half a level of killing stuff) while I kill more things to catch it up until I can make the new weapon for my experience level. Where are you all digging in TA? I found a block in the dark district that has no monsters, but it seems inefficient to have to walk all the way to the south end to sell oreputty/deposit gold. Anyone have any better squares?

Okay, so this is an attempt at a semi-formal study of diggers.  Our goal is to try and figure out the how much luck, level and location affect the results of a digger.  Along the way, we'll figure out answers to most of the common digger questions such as: "Dark District or Forest?", and now: "TA or Larkinor?".  To try and make the resulting data useful, we had to set up a series of rules that should be followed to ensure we're all digging in the same places and are all reacting to everything that happens in the same manner.

I've managed to get to Thord-Artin at level 27, but looks like there's not much there for me yet. Can't buy a house, supply-tent is pointless, no missions, haven't found any advantages over Larkinor. Ran into a monster which would surely have one-shot me if it had a ranged attack, and decided to set sail for home.

VERY anticlimactic after spending 5 mil on a boat.

Or did I miss something? Is there any reward for getting to Thord-Artin at my levels? What happens if I die in Thord-Artin, do I wake up back in Larkinor? When will I be able to buy a house? Is fighting the monsters on the few squares which are left plus building in adjacent squares the only thing that's really different compared to Larkinor? Does stealing (from NPC) in Thord-Artin provide a larger return? Is digging any di…

I was able to create the antigrav boots on one of my characters finally.  When I equipped them originally last month, they increased my daily clicks for that character as expected.  Since I levelled again I created newer boots and changed to those when fighting monsters.  When I was going to quit for the day I re-equipped the antigrav boots to make sure I got the click bonus overnight.  However my click limit won't gain from the boots now.  Am I doing something wrong here?  I left them equipped a couple days, and no change.
