New Craze?
I've noticed in recent times there seems to be this new craze that if you snooker someone and it happens to be a difficult looking shot to attempt to get out of the opposing player just knocks the cueball to the side in no attempt whatsoever in trying to get out of the snooker, this is bad gamesmanship and it would be great if Flyordie could come up with a solution on how to stop this happening, the player that did this against me is called "Spices" but thre are plenty more that do it, what I do up to now is write their usernames down and don't play them again, my list is growing longer by the day.
Doubt FoD can do anything to stop it though. Would be too hard for the server to judge what's deliberate and what isn't.

This craze is still going strong, Bobotwo and Zedys are at it now, it's spreading, is there aanything that Flyordie can do about this, it's ruining the game and before long everyone will be doing it.
Thanks for the response lads, I'm glad I'm not the only one that has a gripe about players doing this and until something is done I'll just avoid playing these type of players.

I've tagged those type of players as "cowards"
more commonly known as --- pro foul :|
Yeah, sorry - went a little OT there. I agree, don't play those you don't like.
beppe hes talking about people delibratly not trying to hit off a snooker lol thats what im relating too
did i say u did ? i just said dont play em again
Martin, I don't think we deliberately play someone because we know they are a bad loser.
its sad and pathetic and u should not play these ideots just mute em
thats a good idea beppe m8 but will fod listen to the ideas from the members of the site? i always concede when i go at least 20 behind and not enough on the table maybe other people should do the same as it is only a game
I personally think a better idea would be to have a point in the game where you automatically lose. I am not sure what would be a good formula, but as an example - if the difference in points is greater than twice the number of points remaining, then the game is lost. It might be good to add limits, say a minimum of 15 points more than the remaining value and maximum of 40.

I know that some people will claim to have made up these differences, but usually it's not going to happen. If you are that far behind, then either you are not good enough to do it often or else the other player is good enough to get out of them most of the time.
maybe if they started demeriting people who constantly do it. Because it takes the fun out of the game. At least this will make them learn
Maybe they could program it in a way that if the cue ball doesn't pass within a certain distance of the object ball then a miss is called, and also when played directly towards the wrong ball. It's hard, because a computer game can't really work out if a person is making a genuine attempt or not.
Lol yeah i know what you mean but the thinking behind the action is that its like a "push out", like in 9-ball.
As in, u leave the cue ball in a neutral position so that the opponent can decide to pass or not without it being too risky if he/she chooses to play it. Its not cheating as such, but this is where the "foul and a miss" rule comes in, WHY CANT THERE BE A FOUL AND A MISS RULE?? If a player makes no real attempt then put them back, if so accept it...........
