Chapter 4: Bloodywatergrl

When Bloodywatergrl returned to her luxurious mansion that night, her father was angry.

“Where have you been!!” he roared, “I was about to call out the bloody British army!”

”I was just with some friends I met today.” Bloody replied meekly, looking down at the pristine marble floor.

“Go to your room and don’t come down until I say so! You can forget about seeing your “friends” for a while.” he emphasized the word “friends” as if it were distasteful.

With a heavy heart, Bloody trudge up the three flights steps and walked into her spacious room. She had only lived here for two days, and she was still astounded by the size of her house. True, the house she had lived in before was large by anyone’s standards, but this place was enormous. If her American friends had been here, the whole junior class could have had a party in it. Bloody took off her sandals and put it neatly in the closet, then lay down on her bed and pulled the blanket around her.

‘Poor rich white girl. That’s what these guys really think of me.’ Bloody thought forlornly. She heard her parents talking quietly downstairs, and she silently crept to the door to listen.

“It’s your fault Emily’s going on these little escapades” Her father said with a menacing tone, “if I had raised her, she would obey everything I said!”

“You and your military bullshit!” her mother hissed back, “When you came back from Vietnam, all you did was lecture her. Every single day, it was ‘Emily go wash the dishes, or Emily buy the groceries, or Emily you’re swimming too slow- move it!.’ You never gave her break. I bet you never knew it, but every night I would go up to her room and she would be crying into her pillow, wondering what she had done wrong. She always thought it was her fault, and you never even forgave her. Not once did you ‘I’m sorry’ or even give her a hug. You expected her to do everything, and what did you do? Nothing.

Tears rolled down Bloody’s eyes as she listened to her mother’s words. She had always thought that her father loved her, that he had a tiny bit of kindness left in his heart, but now, even this faint bit of hope vanished. She felt helpless. She wanted to run away, to escape this never ending ordeal. It was true: her father did expect too much of her, and no matter how hard she tried, she could never satisfy him. If she was even one minute late to breakfast in the morning, her father would go on a tirade, criticizing her until she burst into tears or pleaded for forgiveness. She felt like an inmate, held captive by her father’s dominating presence and deprived of all happiness. ‘A slave’ she thought ‘I am a slave, to do my father’s bidding.’

She crept back into her bed, and cried.

Meanwhile, Chillo also faced trouble when he returned home.

“Vere have you ben?” her mother asked in a thick English accent, “it’s neerly eleven o’clock.”

“I was just out with some friends.” Chillo replied.

“He was out with a girl…” PoolPrincess, his twelve-year old sister chimed in, a faint smile playing on her lips.

Chillo looked at her in surprise. “How-“

“I followed you on my bike. I can be pretty sneaky you know.” She said, and waggled her finger at him. “And she’s American.”

Her mother looked shocked. “You, you, you’ve been nessing arund vith an American gurl?? Doof! You know vat da Americans did to us, huh? You know how they raided your grandma’s house, took all da jewelry, then shot her in da garten, in front of your grandfather, den burnd da house! I vas only three at the time, vut I remember the sound of dat shot.”

Chillo sat down at the kitchen table. He had heard this all before, and he had hoped that his mother would finally see it his way. ‘The war is over and the Americans are our allies’ he often tried to explain, but his mother paid him no mind, insisting that the Americans were spawns of the Devil, here to wipe out the Germans. ‘One day, she always said, they would all go back to Germany and live with their countrymen again, away from the Brits who were allies of the Americans.’

“So I von’t vant you to see her anymur,” she said, ‘Okee?”

Chillo sighed. “Ok” he said, but he knew he was lying. How could he resist Bloody? She was the one meant for him, his life-partner. He loved everything about her, from her deep piercing blue eyes to her long, cascading brown hair. Her touch was like that of the Virgin Mary, so pure and tender, and when their fingers had met, an electrical force had passed between them. She was perfect. She was an angel.

Just then the telephone rang, and Chillo went to pick it up.

“Hey Chillo, what happened to you today?” Player’s Club asked, “You were really quiet on the way home. Are you okay? That girl didn’t seduce you or anything, did she?”

“No…” Chillo answered hesistantly, “no she didn’t.”

“Then what’s the matter?”

Should he tell Player the truth? They had been friends for over ten years, and he had always been able to confide in him.

“I’m … I’m all right, I guess. I’ve just got to think this through.”

“Well, ok, but if you need anything, just give me a ring, alright?”

“Sure.” Chillo replied, and hung up.

He went up to his room and crawled into bed, but as hard as he tried, he could not fall asleep. The image of Bloodywatergrl kept reappearing in his mind, and he saw her, clear as day, talking to him along the river and holding his hand. After several hours, he finally drifted off into a restless sleep. In his dreams, he saw her again, beckoning him, but this time it was different. She wasn’t smiling, she was gasping, reaching out to him. He looked down at her and saw that there were scars on her arms, and…

He woke up in a sweat and looked around. It was morning, and sunlight streamed in the window. With a sigh, he got up and dressed. He picked up his cell phone and called whiteghost.

“Hey ghost, come and pick me up, I gotta go to work.”

“I’ll be right there!” Whiteghost answered cheerfully.

As Whiteghost left his house, he saw Bloodywatergrl walking on the other side of the street, carrying a large sack of groceries. Hurriedly, he ran across the lane, causing a truck to swerve violently to the right- right in the path of Bloodywatergrl! With an athletic leap, he dove, pushing her into a newsstand and the truck crashed into the shop behind them and exploded, killing several civilians.

“Are…are you all right?” Whiteghost asked tentatively.

“Oh, I think so,” said Bloody, still looking dazed “I …that was very brave of you. Thank you.”

“Here let me help you with those,” said Whiteghost, as he lifted the sack of groceries and they left the scene of the accident.

“So, are you fitting in, ok?”

“Yeah I guess so.”

“Are you going anywhere today?” Whiteghost asked, hoping she would say no.

“Well, my father is out on a conference so my mom just asked me to pick up some groceries and take a walk around the city…and I guess that’s what I was doing.” She giggled, and whiteghost thought she sounded beautiful.

“Well I got to pick up Chillo for work but you can stay at my place for a while. How about it?”

Bloody thought for a moment. If her father found out, he would be most angry, but he wasn’t at home, and her mother didn’t mind, so…

“Yes, I’d be glad to!” she said and walked with Whiteghost back to his house.
Christ!
Ben Elton on fire could have written better than that! If you are going to let something as sad as this occupy as much of yours as this, at least make it funny.

Actually, the accents do deserve some credit.

But not much.

Truffle.
I will give him credit for having the balls to write such erm..naff stories on the forum and his writing skills seem to be very good too.

BUT.......!

That does not overlook the fact that this is really sad!
Oh ....my ...God. lol. jeez. this is okay but man why r u writin stories about me? am i supposed to be a legend? lol. this is too funny. and i dont have blue eyes! i have green hazel eyes! lol.
hey not bad its getting better.but you forgot to mention my dream car a 2006 suburu liberty and my killer sound system 5.1 channel running at 300watts just got the speakers for it yesturday.bloody can chill at my house for a while playing xbox games with my 5.1 channel surround sound.you can add that for the next chapter.
clubby2 this is a nice story :D wtg m8
Bai asta mic, povesti gasesti si la biblioteca....
Cele mai multe dintre ele sunt cu adevarat interesante; asta de aici e ...telenovela.

Clubby2, you wrote a soap opera(ha)
=))) da mai dar telenovela netelenovela sa stii ca ia iesit destul de frumos ;)

true its a little to outdated :))))
lol...I wonder how many chapters this story is going to have..and how it's going to end..lol
Hopefully with a tragic death.

Bloody, please note that the title "Legend of bloodywatergrl" is ironic.
btw clubby wen u told the part on how the americans raided the house took jewelry and then shot chillos gma, i think u must be confused with the russians or nazis. americans never did that to civilians. if they were political criminals or soldiers, they were tried, not shot in their own yards and homes. no way. were not cruel. the russians raped, shot, and stole. the americans didnt. so get ur facts straight, plz.
I think is all in good human nature(ha), no matter nationality, religion, and so on...
Bloody, your American, don't expect your history books to tell you the truth.
Ever heard of "lynvh mobs" BWG?
nice story clubby2, u got skillez to write stories. But I hope in this story I am a good person :p
A story 'bout bloody............. haha that's easy. *scribbles down on paper* : evil, mean, disastrous, scheming, wants to kill me...I can go on, lol, but I don't wanna see her in angry mode.

                       Over and out- Usa Striker
striker...im gonna get u one day and when i do ull be sry. lol. cya on the battlefield. over and out.
OMFG, i just disliked america even more.. There so capitalist and discourage communism, they need to get there heads out there bums!
.....why wat did we do? if we were communist we'd be like north vietnam. no offense but we dont need that kinda of government.
>There so capitalist and discourage communism

Maybe, you think, why he said discourage then.
North Vietnam is run by the same people who run South Vietnam!

The only problem I found with Vietnam is that they don't like Americans - and they think that all westerners are American! Those who have got over that were great, but the effect of the American invasion is still there for all to see. With children STILL being born with agent orange disabilities, some of their country still toxic, historical monuments bombed because women and children hid in them and much more, it's hard for them to forgive - ironic that the fault in Vietnamese attitude is because of past US actions.
I swear america needs to sought it's act out.
>Bloody, your American, don't expect your history books to tell you the truth.

does any countries story book tell the exact truth? no of course not. what the heck is with all these cracks at america? its not like we are ruining the world here, we are trying to make it a safer place to live by getting rid of commy's. i really think some of you need a reality check, what we did in the past with veitnam should not come back and bite us now. every country has made mistakes and people forget about it but if america does we can never live it down.
Braves, BWG brought up Vietnam in an unrealistic way. Now you bring up a new
problem
in suggesting that getting rid of communists would make the world a safer place. In actual fact, communism has never been the threat which the US has made it out to be. The US itself has been worse with acts of violence, noteably being the only current world state to engage in pre-emptive attacks. If you believe in freedom, then let others chose their destinies - especially when it doesn't affect you.

Although the US today should not be
judged
on past events like Vietnam, what
anyone
did in the past should never be forgotten. The mistakes should be used as a lesson to help in the future. Unfortunately the nature of the Iraq invasion shows that the US government are still willing to attack others based on personal agendas, and that's what you are judged on today.
>Now you bring up a new problem in suggesting that getting rid of communists would make the world a safer place.

now i really dont have anything personal against communists but the things they do to thier people are just cruel. i admit we are not perfect and what we did to iraq was wrong, but wouldnt you agree that iraq is better off without sadam? i know now our troops should not be over there we are killing american*and other ally* troops for our presidants personal glory. like father like son i think the saying goes. i just dont think we *americans* should be treated with disrespect like ive seen in other forum posts. if people want to disrespect the government go ahead most of us hate um anyway but dont judge all americas by our lousy government;)

just one mans opinon not trying to start anything with anyone.
One day people will get on in this world..nah,its the nature of the beast, allways trying to get one over on each other, country by country, even nextdoor neighbours living in the same country,a human being is an egotistical being..i wanna be an animal in my next life..i wanna be a seagull i wanna go fishing,so relaxing..the funny thing is though,in my human state i hate fishing,i hate cruelty to animals ...lol
Beppe as america is the worlds only superpower they need to act in appropriate ways but as of late the bush administration have really lost the plot.
>but wouldnt you agree that iraq is better off without sadam?

Actually, I don't. The mortality rate from homicide has risen and the living conditions have fallen since the US took over. Iraq
could have
been better had the US planned to protect the people before the oil industry, but they had no idea or interest in protecting the infrastructure and security of the cities. The oil industry, however, was protected from the word go.

It's easy for me to focus on the US for a couple of reasons. Firstly they are greedy - they want everyone to conform with their ideals without giving ground to those of others, and they want a hand in everyone else's pockets. Secondly they are the biggest superpower in the world, and therefore in the spotlight. The very nature of politics (i.e. cut throat) does not creating caring goverments, and by human nature power creates greed. I am sure that if you dig deep enough then most of the powerful and/or rich leaders in the world can be criticized. The reason why I tend to single out the US is because so many of their people naively believe their country to be clean with an innocent history.

I am not targeting that last comment at you brave, I think you have a fairly good idea about what I am saying. I think GL sums it up best - the US has a bigger responsibility to the world, because for as long as they remain corrupt no one else is going to instigate a change for the good.
I think Beppe you should go into politics. You have a good idea on what it's all about and you have a very high iq.
yea ill admit we got a very greedy government, and when i said it was wrong what we did in iraq thats what i was refering to *the oil*. thats what i belive is the main reason that bush wanted over there, he got his oil and then raised gas prices:( so not fair. as for being the biggest superpower, well we couldnt do it alone. without other countries help i belive we wouldnt be around much longer. gl USA isnt the only superpower ;) russia, china, britain and france i
BELIVE
are also SP's but i could be wrong. i would appreciate any knowlage on that. when i said i didnt want to start a fight i meant a political fight im so not good at those :|
wow. look at all the responses.....im not really into politics or anything so im just gonna sit this one out.
If you are not into politics you are not eligible to make that statement.
I think Beppe you should go into politics.

How do you know Beppe isn't in politics?
...

Can't believe this guy would spend THAT much time writing these.. I would strongly consider him to have no real life of any meaning, however that'd make me a hypocrit for spending 10 minutes reading it! lol.
