Housepart Thief
To whomever 'stole' my 150 houseparts while I was transferring them on the market... Nice move, they were only there for maybe 5 minutes. I want them back, however. Grrr...
Just thought I'd point out that you are rather harshly admonishing another person for your own failure. Calling someone a "thief" who "stole" items from you by simply buying them off the market is missing the point entirely.

I feel for your loss, as many of us do (

, but I suggest you try transfering items at the going rate -1 silver to avoid a repeat occurance. Until you make the extra effort to follow this advice, you should consider yourself lucky (or VERY lucky with an item as common as houseparts) everytime you get away with letting items drop in price, rather than feeling unlucky everytime you get caught.

Sandy
i forget who it was, but someone gave me the advice to just put one item up and then let the price drop. then, once it has reached it's desired price, you add all the other items in at once since the price has been established, then buy the items all at once. in this way you'll only lose housepart or whatever item you're trying to sell if a bargain hunter comes by and sees that it is cheap.

MD
Frankly, that method is a little transparent. The same guy who bought up the 150 houseparts would be watching that 1 housepart go down in price pretty much KNOWING that more would be added on soon. It comes down to a race at the end. It's certainly less risky than lowering all 150 at the same time but the risk versus reward ratio is still horrible.

Sandy
eh, you may be right, but people can't monitor all the items all at once all day long. your method works okay for rich people who have ready cash to make transfers, but not everyone who wants to transfer large quantities of items on the market has the capital for each of their characters to pull it off.
Along with Sandy I feel for you loss, however, transfering things is a gamble. You lost. It is possible the other person buys something only because then were looking for it and it was the right price. No idea you were transering something. I have lost weapons and armor the same way. It happens. People don't have to feel obligated to return them to you, even though it would be a nice gesture.
