Free Flyordie Subscription This Christmas?
After playing on the site the past 5 or so years we have had the free sub during christmas the past 2 or 3 years and im wondering wether everyone will get that again this christmas. Even though im a subscriber i just wanted to know if it is gonna be like that this year again.
i have played fod for some time, too, and i have never heard of
you
 ;)
why should you get presents?

i remember when non subs didnt have ratings

i think that present is enough ;)
5 years lol,

if you've been here for '5' years then you should know whats he's talkin about.

players club is hara eh?
They usually treat all people as subscribers for Christmas, even if it's only for one day. That means no ads, all can use PC game etc.
i can not get in my email can i play or what
"ss ty" i remember when they took the ratings away also and i did say i was a subscriber but was just curious if flyordie will make any christmas changes or any free subs again because they haven't made any changes for about 5 months and i could do with everyone being sub to avoid the lag some people get if it is only for the christmas period,
think we'll have to wait and see, im lookin forward to the febuary date when there having a big change apparently...
ok cheers for showing me that m8, didnt know bout that before:p
yw m8 just thought flyordie should do something special for the subscribers this christmas and its members.
I think they should give the subs something extra special like some sort of 3d billiards christmas theme game or patch even and the non subs a days free sub to let them test out the privilages we subs recieve. I tried out the subscribed version of the game and grew to like it even though it cost a tenner or so a year.
no ty, sub like most people you cheap skates :D.
Y DO PPL ALWAYS EXPECT TO RECEIVE SOMETHING???
HOW COME NONE OF YOU SAID ... THIS CHRISTMAS LET'S GIVE FOD A PRESENT AND LET'S SUSCRIBE TO THEIR GAMES???

YOU ARE ALL GREEDY AND SELFISH...

CHRISTMAS IS SUPPOSELY ""CELEBRATING jesus BIRTH"" AND THE WORLD HAS CHANGED TO GIVE GIFTS TO EACH OTHER AND HAVE PARTIES FOR THEMSELVES... IGNORANT PPL... WHEN WILL YOU LEARN??

not all the ppl is the same tho

joel what are you on about?
to .....X..... ,yes christmas is for the bith of christ, but i do not belive in any GOD but as still give and recive presents(h),its just a time to be happy for me,happy and jolly;):p
Peter-27

who do you believe in??
and technically joel jesus was not born on christmas day.
esus was not born on Christmas Day, and no Biblical scholar or historian will contend that he was. While it has long been recognized that Christmas has roots in winter solstice celebrations and the return of the Sun (Son). Christs true birthday has remained a mystery (to the public) until now.

Jesus was born on March 1, 7 BCE at 1:21 AM in Bethlehem, Judea.

The accurate date and time of Jesus birth were calculated by retired Methodist minister, Biblical scholar -- and professional astrologer -- the late Rev. Don Jacobs, a.k.a. Moby Dick the Astrologer, using mainframe computer programs after decades of historical, biblical and astrological research.

The "Wise Men" who followed the Star were Magi -- Persian astrologers. The apostle Matthew recounts the tale of the Magi in his gospel account of the nativity of Jesus. In it he presents one of the main reasons we know this birth to be that of "the chosen one" The wisest, most respected scholars on the planet came and told us so. They journeyed to Bethlehem to anoint Him and validate his identity, his future in the world. The Magi were not merely the first gentiles to recognize or accept Jesus. They -- in their professional capacity -- certified that He was The Christ.
can someone tell me when the billiards forum became the bible bashers meeting place?
The Magi were astrologers and probably came from Persia or southern Arabia. They are believed to be linked with the priesthood of Zoroastrianism, who practised astrology. The 5th Century BC historian Herodotus attested to the astrological prowess of the priests of Persia. (The Bible does not give the number of magi that visited Jesus. The number of three was derived from the three (types of) gifts they presented.)

Remembering that most of our planets can be seen with the naked eye at night and look like stars. In ancient astrology, the giant planet Jupiter was styled as the King's Planet, representing the highest god and ruler of the universe: Marduk to the Babylonians; Zeus to the Greeks; Jupiter to the Romans. The ringed planet Saturn was deemed the shield of Palestine, while the constellation of Pisces, which was also associated with Syria and Palestine, represented epochal events. Jupiter encountering Saturn in Pisces would have meant that a divine and cosmic ruler was to appear in Palestine.

The astronomer Kepler noted in the early 17th century that every 805 years, Jupiter and Saturn come into conjunction, with Mars joining the configuration a year later. Since Kepler, astronomers have computed that for ten months in 7BC, Jupiter and Saturn travelled very close to each other in the night sky, and in May, September, and December of that year, they were conjoined. Mars joined the configuration in February of 6BC.

The Chinese had more exact and more complete astronomical records than the astrologers of the Middle East, particularly in their tabulations of comets and novae. In 1871, astronomer John Williams published an authoritative list of comets derived from Chinese annuals. Over March and April 5BC, Comet No. 52 on the Williams list appeared for some 70 days near the constellation Capricorn, and would have been visible in both the Far and Middle East. As each night wore on, the comet would seem to have moved westward across the southern sky. This could have been the Magi's astral marker. Comet No. 53 on the Williams list is a tailless comet - which could have been a nova - that appeared over March and April in 4BC in constellation Aquila, which was also visible all over the East.

The star that the Magi followed - the Star of Bethlehem -could be any of the astral markers that appeared in 6, 5 and 4BC.

In the 6th Century, the Roman monk-mathematician-astronomer named Dionysis Exeguus (Dionysis the Little) reformed the calendar to pivot around the birth of Christ. He dated the Nativity 753 years from the founding of Rome, calculated to the date King Herod died. But Dionysis miscalculated, because Herod died only 749 years after the founding of Rome, thus 4BC.

Herod, who ordered all the babies in Bethlehem younger than 2 years killed, was, of course, alive when the Magi visited the baby Jesus. So we know that Jesus was born in or before 4BC, as astronomers point out when referring to the Star of Bethlehem.

In the year 274AD, solstice fell on 25th December, and Roman Emperor Aurelian proclaimed the date as "Natalis Solis Invicti," the festival of the birth of the invincible sun. In 320 AD, Pope Julius I specified the 25th of December as the official date of the birth of Jesus Christ. In 325AD, Constantine the Great, the first Christian Roman emperor, introduced Christmas as an immovable feast on 25 December. In 354AD, Bishop Liberius of Rome officially ordered his members to celebrate the birth of Jesus on 25 December.

In some parts of the Roman Empire (mostly the Eastern parts), solstice was celebrated on 6 January, the last festival day for those who started solstice on 25 December. (Saturnalia was held over 12 days.) The Orthodox Churches of Eastern Europe celebrate Christmas on 6 January.

The most likely year that Jesus was born, is 6BC, probably in the month of March. However it is impossible to determine the exact day based on historical evidence.

Nobody here is a bible basher i just said that christmas is not the actual birth of jesus theres no bashing in that!!
if death dont shut up ill bash him
been here 3 years...never heard of it....but id be wicked to be subbed for christmas!
henry...why the **** do you think im a hindu, lol, and to .....X.....,i belive in no GOD.

MeMz
memz wot u on about?
i said that will they have it again?
im subbed already but it was kinda nice having everyone playing as a sub it felt refreshing but i dont think they should give it to the non subs forever but just for christmas because all this dc'ing wouldnt happen to us subs if there were no nonsubs

peter the only reason i thought you was hindu is because you were from india and the largest religeon in india is hinduism but i guess i was wrong in my assumption so im sorry you are obviously an athiest am i right?
you are right henry.. he was not born in christmas.. but then again you are wrong cuz he was not born in march either...

he was born in the feast of Sukot.. a jewish holiday
which is in the month of october...

of course for all of you to understand this will need or have to study some hebrew history and their Torah.
(which i believe is what everyone should believe in.)

and to peter-27 :) here are some questions for you...

if there is no "god" who created you or your ancestors?
do you think or believe there's good and evil?

joel you are the one that said christmas is the birth of christ and we celebrate it but now your'e going back on your word.
maybe it does say that in the torah but if im deeply honest i've never read the torah in full.
the fact of the matter is in the bible it is said that he was born in march and i simply put my foundings across to you i didn't say it's the exact date because who is to say when he was born when there are so many dates in so many holy books.
PLAYERS CLUB........lmao u gonna jump through my moniter and beat me up ,,,,lmao,,,,the cyber space hard man...wot a big mouth you run it off on here because you cant do it in life,,,,what a loser
its ok henry, but wtf is an athiest.
To .....X.....,havent you heard the scinetific explaination of how the earth was created???
btw yes i belive in good and evil.
There are indeed two theories about the birth of christ, both of which appear to be valid theories, with no real definitive fact to separate the two.

One is based aroudn the chineese calendars and astromonical observations and recording of the time, leading to the month of the march.

The other is based around the jewish calendar and the feast of Sukkot which occurs at varying dates from september to october (due to differences in the gregorian and jewish calendars).

Regardless of which is accurate or not though, christmas is still celebrated by many people, or many religions across the world. The details may differ slightly, and different religions have differing concepts regarding Jesus, but they all agree at least that he existed and had a major impact on the world.

Even the atheists of the word acknowledge that Jesus was still an important historical figure, even if they do not beleive he was the son of god, or messiah, or the various other things attributed to him to many religions.

An atheist is one who has formed an active belief that there are no gods. This term differs from agnosticism which asserts no knowledge of gods and therefore concludes there are no reasons to believe in them or not to believe in them. Atheism is just as active a religious system as is Islam, Christianity or Hinduism. The difference is that the atheist belief system falls on the opposite pole of the spectrum from those religions in that it is a negative rather than a positive belief.
Funny thing is we know Veriac is a clever bloke and can blatanty see that Henry is copying and pasting out of google.....unlucky mate..:(
lee the dull answer would have been its when you dont believe in god but i decided to educate peter tyvm.
lmao - my mistake was a missed letter, maybe lack of keyboard skills but not my english. But yes, i ment 'blatantly', please check your spelling before you criticise...
yep my bad i spelt it wrong too :)
so can anyone tell us if flyordie are giving its users a gift this christmas? :D
so how will we know if we gettin free subs.?
they will let us know when the time comes they always do
yes henry... i said that on my first reply.. BUT
if you see i typed SUPPOSELY and it's written with apostrophies... and jesus is written in lower case..

1. Jesus is not his name.. his name is Yahshua
2. The bible is the Jewish Torah.. but translated into many languages... but of course there are thousands of mistakes that have been made when translating it.

to peter-27
yes of course i've heard about the scinetific explaination of how the earth was created.
but even if it started with molecules.. protons.. or anything with what they say.. something or someone had to have created them... here's how it goes...

Creator - created. that's it

ooh and peter.. u didnt answer my first question.
To .....X.....,yeah i suppose something had to create molucles and all that, but i dont know what,i still dont belive in GOD,because someone will have had to create GOD,who did that?,he cant just appear!
What was your first question?,lol,i can't have seen it.

Actually sixers they dont but Daniel did the last 2 Christmas just gone, so i dunno he might do the same this year depends if the man is feeling jolly
yea, he might, but so many more ppl r subbed now ne way
Just 3 days to go so flyordie will no doubt notify members if they are giving a free subscription to every member or not anytime now
He didn't really give free subs, but just let non-subs have the same use for a couple of days. If anything it's a good marketing ploy, as some people will like the PC game after trying it and subscribe...
if i remember correctly last year (i think) they let subs have ratings for a week or so, then decided to keep non subs with ratings but they said that they could take em back at anytime. i think thats correct someone please verify :p
yea thats right but it was the year before scotty
>noob, mods dnt giv free subs, so dumb

Mods don't give out any subs, even if you pay for it. Noob, things he knows what goes on here, so dumb.
