I find the dark district is best because you get less monsters to bug you while you dig and also you're nearer to the CC.

terrae is my lvl 18 digger w/ 53 luck and I find that going straight east till you reach the ocean from the cc is the best for me. I buy 2 shovels and dig until they wear out or until my pack is full. I discard all copper ore and iron ore though. I generally bring in around 70,000 worth of silvers now but it takes a while since I'm always discarding.

Oh and I personally like Cithin maces, buy at cc for 600 and sell for 8000 or so.

If I stay in Larkinor to dig I usually get 5 shovels as well. I am a level 20 digger with 73 luck so I dig up plenty of all the good gems. I usually make up to 200k a trip with  shovels, if I go to TA I would bring 10 shovels and make almost half a mill a trip. I dig until shovels disappear and then steal dns until full weight.

i got a lv21 with 72 luck, when i dig on lark my fav place to dig is the store in the dark district because ur already at the store to sell stuff and a banks only a couple squares away ;)

lvl 25   - 65 luck.. i dig in the dark district a few squares south of the CC
i use no weapons and have no armor
i carry 5 shovels and discard all iron, copper and tin 
i dig util i break all shovels
i get around 200k a trip

My digger on my other account gets hoardes of money,by throwing everything out except for diamonds and then,when he overloads with them, drops the shovel and cashes in the tons of diamonds for tons of money:D

And, i dig in between the two casinos.

I can't even begin to image how many clicks it would take to overload on diamonds.  Futhermore, selling 1kg of diamonds (1000 of them) at the store would give you 5kgs of silvers (500,000)!  You'd have to be careful not to overload while trying to liquidate.

I presume your luck isn't high enough to dig hyperium.  Throwing away hyperium (at 130,000 per kg) would be just silly.  Centro (33k), kithrill (20k) and gold nuggets (20k) are also always worth keeping.  Those five items are the ones that are literally worth more than their weight in silvers.  Ore putty and disprosiums are equivalent (10k), so are also worth keeping if only to save the clicks it would cost to dig up more valuable replacements.  

Discarding everything else is understandable.

Your right Sandy,it does indeed take many clicks to overload with diamonds,especially with my non-subbed account,my luck isnt high enough to dig up anything more,and about selling diamonds and overloading,I do calculations of how much i can hold and how it much weighs and sell that many or 1 less,then take my weight in silvers to the bank,deposit,then I repeat the process.

I just made a digger and I have 19 luck and to my amazement I just dug 2 diamonds up so you may bee to reinvestigate the luck requirements

just dug 3 more up before I overloaded so I would asume that it isn't a fluke

so what ur telling us is that you clicked dig from the drop down menu one time and it said, You start digging... You have dug out 3 diamonds?

my digger is lv 21 with 72 luck and i barely ever get 3 diamonds at once :|

yeah me too braves. It's also amazin' what your digger can do with once he gets an anti-ballast. I've started taking trips too the forest with 7 shovels and am generally bringing back 200-400     
 K a trip.

in case people want the info for diamonds, i've dug up 2 diamonds per dig, 3 out of 5 digs once with 18 luck.  also, once or twice, i've hit 2 diamonds in one dig with 17 luck.  though i have been wondering (seeing how i have a 52-luck digger now) if/when/how often you dig up 2 disprosium or other good stuff.  anyone who has, i'd love to hear about it :)

thanks for the info crew, i now dig in the dark district with no wepons or armor, and am waiting till i break all shovels, and i am geting about 100K per digging session... anyone have any idea when the next digging event will be? i need a diamond shovel!

What is the best way to get experience and level up when ur a low level digger?

the main purpose of digging would be to get money fast, which would mean leveling is less important.  if you only want money, then only dig, and let the levelling occur when it does.
if, however, that doesn't satisfy you, there are other options.  a locked post titled "larkinor character guide" shows how to make digger/mage or digger/fighter combos (or if you're a subscriber, i believe it even has digger/thief and digger/robber).  following those make it easy to fight monsters and dig inbetween, allowing levelling faster, but still making money from digging.
one other option i have found is, because a digger is suggested to have at least 8 IQ, so they will have enough mana to build magic weapons (to sell for profit), i found that if you just continue with IQ=lvl (all other points into luck) for low levels, you can still fight effectively with magic.  and by lvl's 10-15 or so, you would either need to put points into quickness, or else increase your IQ (to lvl*1.5 or 2), and selectively fight monsters who are weaker to magic (some are very resistant) in order to continue fighting to lvl faster... otherwise, by that time, just concentrate on digging, and forget the fighting.

The market will always change for items that sell well, items such as njukug whiskers and mole hides sell for higher prices because they are needed for higher weapons and armour. Also buying things from stores such as fodder or larkinor maps and selling them for much higher prices, good for transfering money but that also changes from time to time.:) hope that helps
