Does anyone know if the pieces can be changed???

I find the pieces hard to distinguish, they take a bit of getting use too. All fat rounded little things.

Why wasn't STANDARD chess pieces used? 

If the pieces were stauton I'm sure they would have much more subscribers. The pieces they use are a kidding. And the black pieces are placed in black square! Disgusting...

can't as a non-sub... don't know if you can as a sub though...
