go to microsoft corporation, when on the main page, go to search, type in java update, than enter. on this page the first listing should be java corporation, click on that, the second page, if you are on the right listing, it should have on the upper righthand side ( download ) click this and it will download the latest version of java. the latest is java SE v1.4.2_05 or type in java update SE v1.4.2_05

and get the latest version from there. I mean why go to another site first? Waste of time.
