9ball 8ball or Snooker
Which game is easier to win points in?

Well I got 400+ in 8ball in a day...so i think 9ball would have to be the the toughest because I always get fluked on, or maybe snooker because the games are so long and many fine players there.

What do you think?

i have played all of these games, and i think that 8 ball is the easiest to gain points, considering that the ones on the toplist in 8 ball have considerably more points than the ones on the toplist of anyother games :P :)..
I think 9 ball is the easiest and the most quick to gain points
The fastest billiard game where we could gain points so fast would be Quick Light Snooker :p
I just went through billiards forum and someone was asking to make Quick Light Snooker.
Everyone that plays 9ball are appalling except a couple of players who play 8ball or snooker as their main game.
Snooker light is the easiest to get "high" in by far, in what other games can you be on the toplist within your first 20 games?
ive gone off 8ball a lot, it bores me now. i like 9ball and used to play it a lot.

but the best for me is snooker, only play quick because full is to long ;)
Scotty, good players dont leave 9 over the pocket...
8Ball is probably the easiest way to gain points quick...9ball i also find hard because i run out of patience there with the flukes etc, annoying clearing a table then leaving the 9 over the pocket for them to run on then give you 5 minutes of abuse and how much better they are than you :D, quick snooker can you can also get high quick.

Hi nish :D
Personally i play only Snooker in room 1,sometimes one frame in 8 ball or 9 ball tooks longer time for me than one frame in snooker with 15 reds cause im that good in snooker ;)
8ball- It's unification of a brisk and skillful game is sensational.
yup:p takes me ages to get a good 9 ball rating:p i always seem to clear the table then miss the 9, they fluke and win:D
i give my respects to RDT coz wat u just said is 100% true
Quite simple really

The truly best players would have most difficulty getting points in 9 because people fluke alot.

And the not soo good players would have trouble with snooker and 8ball because they arent very good at potting and running balls out. But be better at 9 becuase they can fluke some.

Snook light or quick

if u r good at the game
8 ball is easiest, for me anyway. I went from 200 to 700 in pretty much a few hours and it was relatively easyfor me. Keeping my one ball was tough because I lost it a few times to flukes from Matt and Baked Potato Boy. Recently though, it feels as if 8 ball is becoming very lucky and if your in a mood, games can swing away from you.

9 ball which is the most annoying game of the three is also easy to gain points. If you stay patient with it, you can get to 600 with relative ease. But like I said, you have to be patient.

Snooker is most difficult and I find it most difficult to gain points because I am very impatient. It's clear that skilled players find it easier to gain in 8 ball and snooker while the rest prefer the lazy game, 9 ball.
9 ball is by far the easiest to gain points quickly owing to the fact the average game lasts less than 2 minutes.

In 9 ball i have gone from 0 to 500+ in 1 day
In 8 ball i have gone from 0 to 500+ in 2 days
In Snooker i have gone from 0 to 500+ in 2 days

And i am by no means one of the best players. There are several other people i can name who could, if they chose to, reach 600+ in a single day in all 3 games.

The issue of points is pretty meaningless though. The test of the true players is to look at the people they play. If someone who is an average player chose to only play newbies in snooker (for example) they can achive a rating of 500 very easily, because even though they dont gain many points per game, theres almost no chance of them losing a game.
