Ipad checkers
So, been playing checkers for years on my iPad, suddenly I get a message saying my device is incompatible?
Hi MAG57,
Checkers has now been transitioned to the HTTPS protocol.
To access the game, please clear your browser's cache and enter the game via FlyOrDie’s official start page.

Hope this helps!

(I had no problems playing checkers on my iPhone/iPad)
Good morning everyone,

To complement John's answer, and after testing, here are some details.
Hoping this will be reviewed by people with the same issue and that a positive solution will be found.

📱 Why is the iPad blocked? Some games on FlyOrDie require specific features (such as WebGL or keyboard controls) that aren't always well supported on tablets. The site may therefore force the use of a computer to ensure a better gaming experience.

If it still doesn't work, I can help you explore alternatives.

🧩 Specific features required to play on FlyOrDie:

WebGL: This is a graphics technology used to display 3D animations in the browser. Some mobile browsers limit or disable WebGL for performance or security reasons.

Physical keyboard: Some games require keyboard shortcuts or precise controls that aren't available on touchscreens.

Screen resolution and aspect ratio: Games may be optimized for widescreen displays (like those on computers), and the interface may not scale well on tablets.

Full HTML5 and JavaScript support: While Safari on iPad is powerful, it can sometimes block some advanced features used by online games.

Strengthened HTTPS support: Since FlyOrDie's update to HTTPS, some older or poorly configured devices may experience secure connection issues.

📌 In summary: The site detects that your iPad's environment does not meet all the technical requirements to ensure a smooth and secure gaming experience. Therefore, it redirects you to a desktop or laptop computer.

🧭 Safari (iPad/iPhone)

Go to Settings > Safari > Advanced > Experimental Features

Enable WebGL 2.0

Restart Safari

🌐 Google Chrome

Type chrome://flags in the address bar

Search for WebGL or WebGL Draft Extensions

Select Enabled

Click Restart to apply the changes 👉 Full guide here

🟦 Microsoft Edge

Type edge://flags in the address bar

Search for WebGL 2.0

Enable it using the drop-down menu

Restart Edge 👉 Step-by-step video tutorial

🦊 Mozilla Firefox

Type about:config in the address bar

Search for webgl.force-enabled and set the value to true

Search for webgl.disabled and set the value to false 👉 Detailed instructions here

💡 Final tip: Even if WebGL is enabled, some sites like FlyOrDie may intentionally block mobile access for usability or performance reasons. If you've enabled WebGL but the "Incompatible Device" message persists, it's likely a server-side restriction.
