Bedsores and the need to turn patients were known well before the 7th century, in both Greek and Indian medicine. Verse 2: Darkness in the deep sea: Describing the ocean as dark doesn’t require divine insight. Sailors throughout history observed light fading with depth. Saying “layer upon layer of darkness” is poetic, not scientific. Verse 3: Human development from clay: Human development begins with cells and DNA, not literal clay. The embryonic stages mentioned are overly simplified and do not match the detailed stages discovered through modern embryology. Verse 4: Mosquito anatomy: Much of what was said is factually incorrect: - Mosquitoes do not have 100 eyes or 48 teeth. - They don’t have 3 hearts or 6 knives with distinct uses. - UV systems and night vision in wing tips? Not supported by entomology. - There is no “blood purification system” inside their proboscis. When real science is replaced by exaggerated claims, it doesn’t strengthen faith, it weakens credibility. If someone finds spiritual meaning in scripture, that’s their path. But dressing up ancient verses with misunderstood or made-up science doesn’t prove anything.
