There’s actually already a way to block guests, it just takes a couple more clicks. First, go to your Chat Settings and enable “Mute Guests”. Then, make sure “Hide Muted Players” is turned on. This will effectively block all guest users from being seen or challenging you in the lobby. Hopefully that helps in the meantime!

It is not possible to mute guests permanently with Phone at Backgammon for example. Tommy

You are wrong. I just tested this myself on mobile (Backgammon specifically), and you can mute guests. Just tap the Chat tab, then tick “Mute Guests” in the settings. It works the same as on desktop. Hope that helps clear it up!

You can only mute them temporarily. As soon as you refresh the page, they'll be unmuted again. You can mute them permanently on your PC.

Hi Shaun Murphy no1, FORUM HELPER is right. Here’s what to check: Open your browser settings. Look for options like “Clear browsing data on exit” or “Delete cookies and site data when browser is closed.” If these are turned on, any site preferences (like muting, buddy list etc) will disappear when you close/refresh your browser. Turn it off. Hope that was useful. Have fun and good games ahead!

This is about guests, not real accounts. :) If you log in on your PC, there's a feature to permanently block guests. This isn't available on your phone.

Hi Shaun Murphy no1 It is available on your phone. Tap the chat bubble - twice if you're in the lobby - and a menu will appear. There, you can mute guests (and non-subscribers).
