Frequent “Server broken”
Played only 7 games of Go in last 3 days but encountered 4 times of server broken. Strangely, I was the only side lost scores. If the server problem disrupted a game, all the games should have been stopped. Obviously, this was not the case since the game platform continued. Then what happened? Someone suspected that the opponent player used a spy software to attack another player in order to gain scores. Really? However, the site administrators didn’t agree with this suspension. Then what is the root cause of this? This means something about this site as the game playing is not secure at all.
Server Not Broken

Hi,

We've reviewed your Go game history for the last three days. Our records indicate there were 3 disconnections that impacted your games, not 4.

You mentioned concerns about the game platform continuing after a server issue, and suspicions about "spy software" or the site's security.

To be clear:
Our entire game site, including login and game pages, uses HTTPS, ensuring secure data transmission. There is no security issue with the site itself, and your login credentials are protected. User-side programs or "spy software" cannot attack other players or compromise our game servers. Such claims are unfounded.

The "root cause" of disconnections, as you put it, has been discussed extensively. Disconnections in online gaming are complex and often stem from factors like your network stability (internet service provider, Wi-Fi, mobile data) or outdated browsers. While our site uses HTTPS, its implementation for real-time game connections, especially across diverse user setups and older devices, can be sensitive to weak networks.

As shared in updates over the past month, we are also actively transitioning our game site to an entirely new technical architecture. This is a massive, ongoing project that takes significant time and resources, as it involves rebuilding and optimizing core systems to improve overall performance and stability.

Thanks for the reply and explanation. You deleted my comment I added a day before. In the comment, I mentioned old Yahoo game platform, there was no issue of disconnection at all. That was 20 years ago and used old technology. There must be something different from what is happening here. Any thoughts?
Yes, ... time has been happening. To that time the used technology was not old.
