Stop Punishing Honest Opinions
Hello,

You act like North Korea with Kim Jong-un. You don’t let people speak freely. Every time someone says a small negative thing, you punish them. This is not fair. People should be allowed to have opinions, even if you don’t like them.

This is a game, not a dictatorship. You can’t control everything. If someone is rude, sure, take action. But if someone only says their opinion in a respectful way, why do you punish them?

I will not be silent. I will keep speaking the truth, even if you try to shut me up.

Freedom of speech matters — even in a game.

Subject: Re: Stop Punishing Honest Opinions

Hi,

Thank you for sharing your thoughts and for being passionate about our community. We absolutely value freedom of speech and want everyone to feel they can express themselves here—this is a gaming forum, after all, not a dictatorship, and we’re glad you’re part of it.

That said, our goal as moderators is to keep discussions respectful, reasonable, and enjoyable for everyone. We don’t aim to silence honest opinions, but we do have guidelines to ensure conversations don’t cross into personal accusations, speculation, or disrupt the community vibe. If someone feels another player has broken the rules, we encourage using the “Report Abuse” feature rather than calling it out publicly. This helps us address issues fairly and privately, without fueling unnecessary conflict or rumors.

We’re not here to punish respectful feedback—quite the opposite! If you’ve got ideas or critiques about the game or the forum, we’d love to hear them, as long as they’re shared in a way that keeps things constructive. We’re human too, and we’re always open to improving.

You’re right that this is a game, and it should be fun. Let’s work together to keep it that way—freedom of speech matters, and so does a positive space for all players. I hope you’ll keep contributing.

Best regards,
❤️

"ensure conversations don’t cross into personal accusations, speculation, or disrupt the community vibe"

This is the part that some people don't understand. Sometimes people face accusations from people who think they know something when they don't, especially in private messaging. Some players think they can shame or annoy others in any way without facing punishment.

https://www.flyordie.com/games/help/moderation.html

"3.15. Harassing, threatening, embarrassing, or doing anything else to another member or guest that is unwanted."

Now when I think of this, it includes accusing someone of using a program every time you lose or every time they win, or even telling the person that you reported them, right? I also like to play without being made fun of, which means that I don't need someone telling me that I'm a bad player or whatever. I have the mute button and the "keep quiet" button (which I use automatically), just to help maintain the peace.

My point is that some players still don't understand the chat rules. They may say they got a demerit without insulting, but they were still being negative towards another player for little or no reason.
