1000 no-tick
Again, congratulations to the Stoughton 's Son. Naturally, he used both skill and good luck to accomplish it. Regretfully, he dismissed his whole team .Furthermore, high absenteeism is not tolerated by the FOD. He and other former kings will be welcomed appropriately if they re-enter; there are many players who are capable of making the choice! Yes, it makes sense that champions and kings change! Mr77 came very near to 1000 as well, but he lost the last step. Even Talent1 was close to 1000, but the old scoring system prevented him from reaching even 900! He would undoubtedly surpass 1000 if he continued to play at the same speed! He was a powerful player! However, something unthinkable is occurring on the ice these days. Nearly every week there are riots and upheavals, and a new monarch ascends to the throne that hasn't yet cooled. It goes without saying that it is permitted by the game's regulations in the online edition! Furthermore, the developers here disregarded one of the most significant rules of the current real curling game, and many players' complaints—some of whom even departed in protest—went unanswered.
Never in a game that is so masterfully executed in other ways, has the no-tick rule been applied. The new rule, incidentally, has been in force since 2022-2023! Now is the time to consider how to put it into practice here. But just in case, that's me. I am aware that the invention will tremendously annoy some of the powerful players who are aggressively taking advantage of this gap! However, these are the game's rules! One of the crucial ! Ta!

I stopped playing becoz they don't enforce the no-tick rule here
Same they used to update the rules quick. It must be hard to program for some reason.
Against these players you just have to keep putting up the centre guard, and higher than where the split rocks are so that you give a chance for those rocks to run into those and give you a centre guard or a rock to work with at least.

Just keep putting up the guards, it's boring but I've gone to my 6th/7th rock putting up the guard, sometimes, and end up stealing still.

All that being said, there should be a no-tick rule in this game!
always just try to force to one point. it’s hard but it can be done.

History has shown us that FoD invests little or nothing in terms of changes - given the revenue model on this site I doubt they have a lot of cash to put towards it. As a programmer in my previous life, I think the amount of work required to implement the 5-rock rule would be far simpler than implementing the no-tick rule. It would require the program to know about the center line (right now it's probably just painted), and then have a facility to prompt players for whether or not they want rocks replaced. To implement 5-rock was a simple "If stonecount <6 and stone not in rings and stone sent out of play then rollback 1 shot"

Over the years, many of us have requested changes, some seemingly very simple, that would improve the game significantly. It's too bad that they aren't followed up on to make a great game even better.
