Point gaining
Hi, I won a game 4:2 against a 218-ranked player and I was ranked 339. I lost 2 points. I know why this has happened but it does discourage higher-ranked players to play with lower-ranked players. Just a comment. Thank you for such a great platform to play back gammon.
You have been playing the game since 2018. Thinking that you realize this situation after 5 years, I am answering such a question.

If your purpose of playing the game is to score points, you should not play if you have a high score other than 0-50 points ( as genel) difference with your opponent.

You can find the details for the score come and go in the algorithm calculations on the site.

It was not a question, it was a comment. No need to get upset about it.
Maybe your strengths aren't geared up to respond to this forum. You probably should read the comments carefully first.

hi, while writing a comment on a subject, I am writing by considering the introduction in terms of development and result. By giving preliminary information, I actually gave you the answer you wanted. You can access the details from the algorithm link.

Think about your proposal for yourself. For example, you have 500 points and you play with 0 points player. If you get equal points when you win and lose, that kills the competition, right?

You get points according to your level and thus a controllable justice order is formed.

In fact, this existing order is valuable to protect the rights and abilities of highly rated users like you.

It is more valuable if a player with 1 gram strength can beat a player with 4 gram strength.

This is so in all areas of life. This is not a tournament area and is an unlimited area where anyone can enter the competition by creating a username.

If there was a limited order like a tournament, you might be right, but this is not possible in the disorderly environment of the competitors.
