Hello,i m from Turkey.I think our team was so stressed during the game.The midfielders was so hesitant to get risc and create goal positions.Players were stressed because all country was waiting this match for months.And tension was very high because of several reasons;thats true for England side too but i think it effected the side, who has to score, more.
However,altough we were higher ranked before the group draws took place,to finish the group at top would be surprise for us,England is a bigger football country with history and league of today.At match,especially physically England performed very good and i think with Owen ,they are among favorites of all events.Gerard and Scholes were stars of game.
Our team has long way to be a first class team.Maybe Emre of Inter Milan is the best player of the world but,we need to increase the number of good players.
