Losing a rating point

Why do I randomly lose a rating point every now and then? 

I know for sure this happens. I've made a point to look out for it and it happens a lot.

It's easy to assume that your skill decreases from lack of play.
The points bleed is very slow anyhow, that's why you never noticed before.  :)

To keep you playing - assuming you are so hung up on your points total that you want to.

FlyOrDe reserves the right to deduct your rating once every day.

Depending on your current rating your rating will be reduced by 1, 2, 3 or 4 points.

Obviously they do. They could make me a 0, they run the place.
The question is why are they randomly taking ratings points? What are they trying to do?
