Hello. Now, I love chess, its a thinking mans game. It tests one's knowledge and logical capabilities. What I don't love, however, is when I lose in a winning situation because 20 minutes are up. Having 20 seconds left to checkmate a guy with a rook, king and knight still on your side is frustrating. And its not like I'm asking too much as even professionals can take up to 40 minutes on 1 move, let alone in a whole game. I don't necessarily want all the main chess rooms (although it woudl be nice) to have 30 minute time limits (which is all I'm asking for, really), just at least 1 room with it in - just for the option of having it. So... any takers?

Yes, I agree. One of the reasons I use this site is it's one of the few places on the web to get a longer game against a larger range of opponents. So I'd love a half hour/ 40 minute room.
I agree with the 30 to 40 min axtended time, could we receive some feedback from the site moderators as to if this is possible ?
I agree that it stinks when you run out of time with a clear material advantage. However, I was always a slow player and enjoy the challenge to speed it up. The longer games might be too much of a temptation to slip back into my old ways. Overall, though, I am very impressed with this site.
