I'm pretty sure he made a prog. But it was the first perfect prog and he did have to know the game theory in order to make it.

And I doubt the book will make c4 more popular, but one can hope. I think every c4 nerd should get a copy though, if for nothing other than collection's sake.

As of yet it's only a *pre*order, and Amazon's estimated availability for shipping is July 23.

J. Allen had solved the game in 1988 already. However, this new book seems to be exciting and maybe Connect Four will become more popular.
