Since the players know how to make a perfect long shot goal, the game is decided more based on who gets the red team and thats really not good for the game. Add some more difficulty or uncertainty to the game so that this situation is changed. Changes like variable terrain, lesser control on power and direction of shot can do the job. Another suggestion is to make game with new rules like, in order to win the game, player has to score from every single position .
