Uses Program Icon in Player Info
How do players get the (Player might use program) icon in there info? Does fliordie put it there if they are cheating?
I found this in the rules ofUsing a computer program with board games
Using a computer to decide your moves in a board game on FlyOrDie is allowed.
FlyOrDie members have the right to know if they are playing against a computer. Therefore FlyOrDie uses a system to detect suspected program use, which will be indicated on the concerned players' info screen with a small icon.
This pertains to NON subs as well.
Unsubed players CAN state that in there info.
I'm just stating what I heard awhile ago. Maybe someone can come in and clear it up for you.
Then what about unsubbed players? They can't state it in their info because they're not subbed.

Player
might
 use program. This isn't definitive.
Thank you for clearing that up.
Using programs to calculate moves is legal by FoD rules but the player has to put it in their info that they use it so that a possible opponent will know they use a program to play a game, if a player uses a program and doesn't state it in their info then it is illegal to do.
*LEGAL...Sorry. Tipo. mi BAD.
So?? If fod put the icon in player info because they are using a program to advance, and player has not been warned or banned, am I to assume that using a program is leagal?
yep how does fod know that

ill never underestimate fod they know everything
How does the system know that player might be using program?
Yes, the system put it there by itself.
It means that that player uses a program to help calculate their moves (mainly I believe in Chess). Which is legit and used in a lot of cafe's for chess games/tournaments.
