Persistence
I have a character with more persistence points than other, and this second gain more hitpoints than the first, per level.
Why? Someone can answer me?
Luck is also a factor. And there is a random element involved as well.

I think the exact formula is the following, although I have no idea where the rounding takes place:

HP gained: Pers/3 + Luck/5 + 10.

Sandy
Oh, I forgot to include the random element. I'm pretty sure it's a random number between 0 and 3 inclusive.

HP Gained Per Level: Pers/3 + Luck/5 + 10 + (0, 1, 2, or 3)

Sandy
Thanks. but is still strange...
I'm not sure what you mean there. If you don't understand it, post the pertinent stats of both characters: persistence, luck, hit points and character level.

OK is for now:

character 1 (fighter)

strengh 10

I.Q. 1

Dex 7

Quick 8

Luck 1

persistence 27

HPOINTS 176

Character 2 (mage)

strg 1

IQ 16

dex 1

quick 13

luck 1

persis 22

HPOINTS 179

BOTH LEVEL 10.. The mage is very better than the fighter
then I make money easy and died few times; the fighter
died much more than mage is this make a diference?
(the fighter has high persistence for long time)
Strange or not? thanks for help!
I remember, in level 9 the fighter has 2 hp more than mage. But the persistence is already high. I don't know why gain less HP.
I have a question; i just started 1 our ago and already have Poison3, Disease5 and Paralyses3. Hard enoth to kill me before i am out of the street. What can i do to stop this, is there a docter? And do i have to pay for i have 0 silver..

Okay, that's a tiny difference. One character has 5 more persistance than the other, which means he'll gain about 2 more hit points than the other at level 11. However, due to the random factor, the higher persistance character may actually gain as few as 1 LESS or as many as 5 MORE than the other character.

The next thing to look is is when did the high persistance character BECOME the high persistance character? Since increasing your persistance NOW won't change the number of hit points you got from previous levels, it is very important to note what amounts of persistance each character had when they leveled up.

You COULD do all that work, or you could just take my word for it that no matter when the high persistance character became the high persistance character, the numbers you have shown are by no means impossible, and may not even be that unusual... depending on when persistance points were assigned in each case.

Regardless, the higher persistance character will soon have a slightly larger number of hit points.
